Stay in touch

We’d like to keep you updated about our work, campaigns, fundraising, events and other ways you can help keep our countryside thriving. Let us know whether you’d like us to keep in touch by selecting from the options below.

Are you sure? Selecting no will change your contact preferences and we may no longer be allowed to contact you about Star Count, or our other work.

What's it all about?

Star-filled skies are one of the most magical sights our countryside has to offer.

But sadly, light pollution is leaving fewer stars than ever visible to the naked eye.

That's why we need your help to track how light levels are changing. Together, we can work towards rewilding our skies for the benefit of people and wildlife.

Here's how it works

⭐ Become a ‘citizen scientist’ and take part in our Star Count, a cosmic census to map light pollution.

🔭 We’ll be asking you to choose a clear night between 17-24 February 2023 and look to the skies to see how many stars you can spot within Orion.

📝 And don’t worry, we’ll give lots of guidance so you know where to look! It’s a great, easy piece of stargazing for kids and adults – no telescopes required!

Register your interest now to make sure you’re the first to hear more about Star Count 2023.
